The Fountain Head at Branscombe is a 500-year-old building nestling in a little valley, it has a log fire, a flagstone floor, a snug and welcoming interior, ample outside space and truly sublime Branoc ale from the very local Branscombe Vale brewery. The home cooked food is very reasonably priced and the fish is fresh from Lyme Bay. Every year there is a CAMRA Beer Festival with pig roast and live music.

Further down the hill in the heart of Branscombe is The Masons Arms, with a selection of local ales, and fine dining.   

The Blue Ball is a very well priced family pub catering for everyone. And is a 5 minute drive towards Sidmouth. The inn has a history dating back to 1385, the construction of a thatch over cob and flint provides the atmosphere of a bygone age and a timelessness which is felt when entering this fine old inn.
